The Prophet ﷺ said: “The sun and the moon are two signs from the signs of Allah… When you see an eclipse, pray and supplicate until it is over.” (Bukhārī & Muslim)
During the eclipse, we are encouraged to:
- Perform Ṣalāt al-Kusūf
- Make duʿā and dhikr
- Engage in istighfār
- Give ṣadaqah (charity)
- Reflect upon the greatness and power of Allah
